In Vessel Composting IVC

The TEG IVC process is in operation across a network of UK sites which are validated to the ABP (Animal By-Product) Regulations and certified to the BSI PAS 100 QP Standard.

The continuous operation of the composting process produces minimal leachate and virtually no emissions.

There is no forced aeration, turning or agitation during the single pass composting process, resulting in low energy demand.

Automation provides a low labour requirement.

Continuous temperature monitoring ensures the optimum working environment is maintained at all times, guaranteeing a pathogen-free product which is stable and easy to store and handle.

The system's modular design enables TEG to provide a flexible and cost effective solution across a wide range of process capacities from less than 5 to more than 50ktpa

TEG technology is capable of processing a wide range of wastes but is particularly effective for

  • Household food waste collections
  • Co-mingled food and green collections
  • HWRC and kerbside green waste
