TEG was incorporated (in England and Wales) in 1995 and its ordinary share capital was admitted to trading on AIM in July 2004. The company is not listed on any other exchanges or trading platforms and its shares are freely transferable.
The TEG Group Plc is the parent company with two operating subsidiary companies, TEG Environmental Limited and the Natural Organic Fertiliser Company (NOFCO) Limited. The company's main country of operation is the United Kingdom.

TEG Environmental Limited is the main operating company, responsible for the design and installation of specialised plant and equipment for the composting of organic wastes for sale to third party customers and for in-house projects. Its unique Silo Cage system is a commercial scale continuous-flow thermophilic composting plant that converts organic wastes into a high quality, natural end product.
NOFCO Limited markets all end products from the composting plants to agricultural, horticultural and domestic sectors.
In July 2007 The TEG Group Plc formed a Joint Venture company with Glendale Managed Services Limited - the 'green services' division of Parkwood Holdings plc - to build and operate TEG Silo Cage In-Vessel Composting plants to produce horticultural compost products. The Joint Venture is a progression from the collaboration between the companies that began in 2006. The Joint Venture will be called Verdia Horticulture Limited and its focus will be on building and operating medium scale facilities, typically 10-15,000 tonnes feed per annum to produce horticultural grade products for sale to Glendale and to regional horticultural markets.
