Michael Fishwick | Chief Executive
A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Michael is an experienced waste industry professional, having worked with clinical waste collection and disposal, with radioactive waste recycling and with automotive waste collection and recycling.
He joined TEG in 2004 from The Waste Solution Group Ltd where he was Managing Director. In the four years with that company he led a management buyout from the previous owners before successfully selling the company to Credential Environmental Limited. Previously he was Operations Director of clinical waste company White Rose Environmental Ltd and Executive Director of WRES Ltd, an animal waste incineration business.
Nigel Moore | Non-executive Chairman
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Nigel joined Ernst & Young and was a London based partner for 30 years until June 2003.During this time he was Managing Partner of the London Office, Marketing Partner and was responsible for setting up the Ernst & Young firms in Russia and Eastern Europe.
Since 2003, Nigel has built up a wide ranging Non-Executive Director portfolio including two companies listed on the FTSE main Board, Hochschild Mining PLC and The Vitec Group PLC. Other Non-Executive Director roles include another AIM company, Ascent Resources Plc and one of the largest Scottish based private companies, Production Services Network Ltd. He is also a director of IntelligentComms Ltd.
He has been a Director of The TEG Group PLC since 2003 years and Chairman since 2004.
Doug Benjafield | Non-Executive Director
Doug is a Chemical Engineer, Chartered Chemist and Chartered Environmentalist. He has over 30 years of industry experience, much of which was spent at Redland Purle/Cleanaway Ltd, and before that, at BOC and John Brown.
He was on the main board of Cleanaway Ltd and its subsidiaries, with operational responsibilities embracing composting, recycling and disposal activities, major capital projects, winning planning consents for local waste schemes and developing corporate strategy in the UK and Europe.
Ian Hislop | Non-Executive Director
Ian, who is a consultant to Bridges Ventures, has over 20 years of experience of development capital investment in both public and private companies. While working for Causeway Capital, a venture capital firm, he set up and ran two funds totalling £135 million which specialised in taking significant holdings in small quoted companies. Previously he spent 13 years with N.M. Rothschild & Sons in London and Hong Kong. He has sat on the boards of a number of public and private companies in order to assist them with their strategic development.
Tanja Willis | Finance Director and Company Secretary
ACCA qualified, Tanja joined TEG in June 2004 as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. She was appointed Finance Director in March 2005.
Prior to joining TEG, Tanja was the financial controller at Preston North End Plc, operators of the professional football league club.
Tanja began her career at Electronic Accounting SA (Pty) Ltd, a chartered accounting practice.Before moving to the UK, she was financial controller of Hunter Douglas SA (Pty) Ltd, an international manufacturer of window coverings and architectural products.
