Michael Fishwick | Chief Executive, The TEG Group Plc, Chairman and Chief Executive of TEG Environmental Ltd and Chairman and Chief Executive of NOFCO Ltd.

A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Michael is an experienced waste industry professional, having worked with clinical waste collection and disposal, with radioactive waste recycling and with automotive waste collection and recycling.

He joined TEG in 2004 from The Waste Solution Group Ltd where he was Managing Director. In the four years with that company he led a management buyout from the previous owners before successfully selling the company to Credential Environmental Limited. Previously he was Operations Director of clinical waste company White Rose Environmental Ltd and Executive Director of WRES Ltd, an animal waste incineration business.


Alan Heyworth | Research and Development Director, The TEG Group Plc and TEG Environmental Ltd.

Alan co-founded TEG Environmental Plc with Dick Bilborough in October 1995. He has been involved in commercial composting since the late 1950s, initially through family and associated firms manufacturing peat-based composts and organic fertilisers.

He worked at the University of Wales for 20 years, during which time he established an environmental consultancy group, Environmental Consultants Limited, which dealt extensively with composting companies and prompted him to research new approaches to commercial composting.

Combining his research findings and experience with commercial systems, Alan established the optimum process conditions, the principles of which formed the basis of the design and development of TEG's unique Silo Cage system.


Tanja Willis | Finance Director and Company Secretary, The TEG Group Plc, TEG Environmental Limited and NOFCO Limited.

ACCA qualified, Tanja joined TEG in June 2004 as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. She was appointed Finance Director in March 2005.

Prior to joining TEG, Tanja was the financial controller at Preston North End Plc, operators of the professional football league club.

Tanja began her career at Electronic Accounting SA (Pty) Ltd, a chartered accounting practice. Before moving to the UK, she was financial controller of Hunter Douglas SA (Pty) Ltd, an international manufacturer of window coverings and architectural products.


Fergus Healy | Operations Director. TEG Environmental Ltd

Fergus has over 15 years experience as an environmental and waste industry professional.

Fergus joined TEG in October 2005 from Cleanaway, where he was Regional General Manager for the Midlands and NW Commercial and Industrial Division.

He began his career in 1990 as a scientist before becoming a Senior Environmental Consultant, where he was engaged in the clean up and remediation of UK brownfield sites.

In 1998 Yorkshire Water set up a Joint Venture Bovine Incineration business in the wake of the BSE crisis and Fergus co-managed that business for three years until it was sold as a Management Buy Out in 2001. At that point he took up a Regional Management position with a European Laboratory Group

Fergus has an Honours degree in Chemistry from Manchester University. He is a Chartered Chemist and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He also has a DMS from Bradford Business School.


Fiona Maudsley Drain | Technical Director, TEG Environmental Ltd

Fiona joined TEG in 1998 after receiving her BSc degree in Microbiology from Leeds University. She has worked closely with Alan Heyworth as part of the technical and science team and also alongside Michael Fishwick in sales. In addition to her extensive technical knowledge of the TEG Silo Cage system, Fiona has exceptional organisational and management skills and plays a key role in project planning. She also has extensive experience of waste legislation and licence application.


Jayne Pierre | Commercial Director, TEG Environmental Ltd

A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Jayne has worked in technical, commercial and management roles in the waste and wastewater sectors for the past 15 years. Previous ventures have ranged from large-scale traditional municipal waste management to small-scale innovative recycling operations such as the manufacture of architectural products from waste glass, sourcing secondary feedstocks for cement manufacture and biodiesel manufacture.

Ron McIlwraith | Engineering Director, TEG Environmental Ltd.

Ron has an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 30 years' experience in design, cost engineering, contracts, procurement, projects and maintenance management. He has worked in the glass industry, MOD procurement, food industry machinery manufacture, and the pulp & paper industry. For the last 10 years he has managed major projects and factory maintenance operations in a rapidly growing fast moving consumer goods company supplying major UK supermarket groups.


Mike Orr | Executive Director, NOFCO Ltd

Mike joined TEG in 2004. He has over 30 years' experience in the agricultural sector covering consultancy, contracting and management, having run his own farming business. Latterly he was employed as General Manager of Borders Machinery Ring, an agricultural co-operative with a turnover of £3.5 million. Mike is well known in the Scottish agribusiness sector and is an elected Associate of the Royal Agricultural Society. He has extensive experience in contract management and business development and has developed a wide-ranging knowledge and understanding of the applications of compost.


Nial Rees | Director of Special Projects, TEG Environmental Ltd.

Nial has nearly 30 years' experience in building design services, sales and contracts, planning and site development, building component manufacture and nationwide erection services. He designed and constructed the first commercial TEG plant building at Preston and led the successful turnkey Swansea project, delivering the first mainland local authority contract for TEG. His broad commercial experience in sales project management, manufacturing, procurement, site development and logistics provides a unique package to potential development partners.
